The board of EurAI invites Member Societies and Fellows to submit nominations for General Chair or Programme Chairs for ECAI-2027, which will be held in Athens.

Candidates can be nominated by the EurAI board, a EurAI Member Society, or a EurAI Fellow.

Nominees must agree to be candidates before their nomination is submitted to EurAI.
A brief statement explaining why the person is deemed capable of the job is required along with the submission. This statement should include a short list of relevant experiences, such as the experience of being a General Chair or Programme Chair of other conferences.

The proposed candidates will be invited to write a brief statement and provide a brief bio sketch, which will be available to the member societies before the General Assembly in Bologna on October 2025.
The board of EurAI may pass extra information to the General Assembly, including the list of prior GCs and PCs of ECAI to ensure diversity in research fields, gender, and member organisations over the years.

We encourage the nomination of candidates who will increase the gender, research area, or geographic diversity of the ECAI's GCs and PCs over the years.
